To kill a mockingbird: Harper Lee

Hope ya’ll doing great! Here I am today with the book review for To kill a mockingbird by Harper Lee. It is a story of differences and prejudice that exists between white and black people. Through the eyes of two siblings; Jem and Scout, Harper Lee has narrated wonderfully that how black suffers in the hand of white people. Whenever justice has to prevail between a dark and a white-skinned person; it takes forever to rule the case.

So the synopsis of the book is that a six-year-old girl Scout lives with her 10-year-old brother Jem and father Atticus Finch in Maycomb county, Alabama. Atticus Finch is a lawyer and he always lived by what is true and stood for the right. But one day, he is asked by the county court to fight a case for a Negro who is charged to rape a white girl. Now, what would you think that a black person is always the one at the wrong end? When it comes to being innocent and guilty between a black and a white; who gets justice?

To kill a mockingbird is so much more than this. It is about the friendship of Jem and Scout with a boy named Dill who used to come in summers to live in their neighborhood. It is about being anonymously friends with people who you may not have met or seen but they stand for you in dark times!

I cannot simply put into words how much I loved this book❤
What I loved the most is; there was less drama and more story. So yeah!
I'm definitely going to recommend this one! Give it a read. It's amazing.

Undoubtedly, Harper Lee has tried to teach us some lessons from these powerful quotes from “To kill a mockingbird” ;
